The Casing Spool is assembled to the top of the Casing Head.
CASING SPOOL FUNCTIONS:
- Attaches above the Casing Head and seals off the next casing string
- Supports the blowout preventer while drilling
- Allows for testing of the blowout preventer
- Housing for casing hanger and seal assembly
- Side outlets for annular access
MODELS AVAILABLE:
- C-22 (no lock screws), C-22-BP (two lock screws, 180deg apart), C-22-L (full lock screws)
- C-29 (no lock screws), C-29-BP (two lock screws, 180deg apart), C-29-L (full lock screws)
