A tubing head is the top spool on a system. It serves the purpose of providing a load shoulder to support the tubing hanger or string. The tubing head is the last major component before installing an adaptor for the Christmas tree.

Kingsa also has expertise in the manufacturing tubing hangers for our customer’s line of hangers. Hangers are available in materials of your choice and coatings of your choice.

Casing Head

A casing head is the first component to be set up on the surface casing string. The casing head supports the rest of the wellhead components and eventually, the tree.

Casing Head Functions:

Provides the first attachment to the surface casing string.
Supports the blowout preventer while drilling for the next string.
Allows for testing of the blowout preventer while drilling.
Housing for slips and packing assemblies.
Allows suspension of intermediate and production strings of casing.
Side outlets for annular access.

FEATURES

C22 bowl which accepts a C-22, C-122 automatic sealing casing.
Hanger or C-21 non-automatic sealing casing hanger.
Bottom prep can either be slip-on and weld or threaded.
Side outlets can either be threaded line pipe or threaded with studded outlets.
Also available in C-29

Tubing head functions:

Has a load shoulder to support the tubing hanger.
Provides access to the annulus between the tubing string and the production casing.
Supports the BOP while the well is being completed.
Allows for testing of the BOP.
Side outlets for annular access.
